Serving the Fremont Community for 30 Years
Meet the Cat’s Automotive Team
As members of the Centerville Community and Business Association, Cat’s has been a favorite Fremont auto repair shop for decades! Opening as Cat’s Radiator in 1983, we changed our business name to Cat’s Automotive Repair in 2000. That is also when we expanded our services to general automotive repair. We love providing our local drivers with top quality auto repair and maintenance. With 30 years as members of this community, the residents of Fremont and many other Tri-City motorists have been extremely good to our business. Because of that, we love to give back! As our community grows, so does Cat’s Automotive Repair. We recognize that as much as we enjoy serving this community, we are also served by this community. Many business owners forget that they are often customers too, and always neighbors. But not us. This is a give and take relationship, where we always focus on giving more than we receive. Interestingly enough, the wonderful people of this community always outdo us with their faithful patronage to our shop. We are truly grateful, and this is why we strive to make people proud to call themselves Cat’s Automotive Repair customers and friends.
We get the most enjoyment out of making sure our community is taken care of. One way we do this is by making Christmas donations to Tri-City Volunteers, an organization dedicated to eliminating hunger in Alameda County. Each year, we also sponsor a Little League team in our area. We might be helping create the next major leaguer, but even if we’re not, we’re adding value to the lives of countless young people. These are the children of our customers, and as a family-owned business, we believe there is nothing more important than family. Every auto repair and maintenance service is meant to protect everyone playing and watching these little league games. These are the people that your vehicle is often carrying and protecting, so we know just how important quality service is to you. Your children are the future and ensuring that they have fun playing a sport each year is as important to us as it is to you. Thank you, to all of our customers, for letting us be a part of this community! It’s our pleasure to serve you.
Check back soon for more information about other great organizations we sponsor. Or, if you’d like to partner with us, please contact us. We are always looking for new opportunities to strengthen this community.
Meet The Team
Catarino Rios
Cat opened Cat’s Radiator in 1983, changed to Cat’s Automotive Repair in 2000, to provide Fremont residents with a high quality auto shop. Over 35 years later, he’s still at the shop – and still has a passion for auto repair. In the beginning, our services primarily focused on heating and A/C Repair, but now we have expanded our reach and now provide full service auto repairs. Most days Cat can be found working the front counter, answering phones, and greeting everyone with a smile!
James Morrison

Dear Customers,
It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of our longtime employee Gary Nowicki. Gary passed away on February 28, 2021. We will miss him more than words can say. Gary was not just our co-worker, he was our close friend. His family held a private service for him. We know that many of you were very fond of Gary. He will be greatly missed.
Sincerely,
Cat and Kim Rios
